The Purpose

 The purpose of this free luncheon is three fold; to celebrate women empowering other women, to present the annual Silent Samaritan Award, and to provide awareness of Midwest Christian Counseling Center (MCCC) services and request donations.  MCCC is nationally accredited by the Samaritan Institute.  Funds will be used to support the Center’s mission, to subsidize the cost of counseling services provided to clients with limited financial resources.

The 2009 Event

The second annual Women in Strength Helping Women in Need (WISHWIN) Holiday Luncheon was held on Friday, December 11, 2009 at noon at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center, 2345 McGee Street, Kansas City, Missouri.

Table Captains

There is no charge for the lunch or to be a table captain.  We only ask that you do your best to fill your table with nine of your friends.  Table captains will collect the money that is donated in an envelope at your table.  Attendees must RSVP through a table captain.  Mark your calendars now for this free, uplifting event and start getting your table of 10 filled today! Silent Samaritan Award

The award is presented each year at the luncheon to a woman who faithfully supports the mission of MCCC.  The 2009 recipient is Deb Amandola of Executive Coaching Plus, LLC.  She serves on the MCCC Board of Directors, on the Steering Committee of the Heart of America Ethics in Business Awards, and as the Chair of the Selection Committee for that event, and was the program sponsor of the 2008 WISHWIN Holiday Luncheon. 

Raffle

High quality, donated items and services will be raffled off to attendees.  Each guest will receive one raffle ticket and additional ones will be sold at the event - 10 tickets for just $5
